AMERICAN ENGLISH E-TEACHER SUMMER COURSES
New round of competition.
Hello English language educators in Ukraine!
We’re excited to announce that the Regional English Language Office at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv is accepting applications from Ukrainian EL teachers to participate in the Summer 2020 term of the AE E-Teacher program.
The AE E-Teacher Program offers 8-week professional development courses in small cohorts of teachers, developed by U.S. universities.
The AE E-Teacher 2020 Summer Term will run from July 7 – September 1, 2020 and will offer following 7 courses:
✔️ Content Based Instruction
✔️ Integrating Critical Thinking Skills into the Exploration of
Culture in an EFL Setting
✔️ Methodology for TESOL
✔️ Professional Development for Teacher Trainers
✔️ Teaching English to Young Learners (3-10 years old)
✔️ Teaching Grammar Communicatively
✔️ Using Educational Technology in the English Language
Classroom
WHO CAN APPLY
Candidates must:
🔸 Be an English language professional
🔸 Have strong English language reading and writing skills
(minimum 525 TOEFL, 70 iBT, or CEFR B2)
🔸 Be a citizen of Ukraine
🔸 Be living in Ukraine for the entire duration of the AE E-
Teacher term
🔸 Have regular and reliable access to high-speed internet
connection
🔸 Be able to spend 10 to 15 hours online each week for the
duration of the 8-week course
🔸 Be willing to be enrolled in a second or third course, if your
primary choice is unavailable

COURSE REGISTRATION PROCESS
Selected participants will receive email notification and instructions to self-register from donotreply@aeeteacher.org or ae-eteacher@fhi360.org.
Selected participants must self-register by May 8, 2020.
Important Note: If participants do not complete the self-registration process, they will be unable to enroll in courses. The login information established at registration is required to access the course.
Applicants will rank their course preference (1 – 3). We will make every attempt to enroll participants in their first or second choice.
The mandatory orientation course must be completed by June 26, 2020.
